Friday afternoons in semester two at the Varsity College Primary Campus is clubs and communities afternoon. The program allows all our senior primary students (Years 4, 5 and 6) the opportunity to participate in activities outside the conventional day to day curriculum. Photography for beginners, chess, fishing, craft, fitness, Australian football, touch football and Digital Art are just some of the activities that are offered to students. All activities are run by teaching staff at the college and are a great way for students to meet teachers from other year levels.
The program caters for over 650 students who can try four clubs over the semester with each club running within a four week period. Clubs are a great opportunity for students to discover their passions and try their talents in a new area in a fun, non-threatening and relaxed atmosphere.
