Primary Campus Leadership Program
The college student leadership program encourages primary and secondary students to collaborate and contribute to their college and local communities. The program is divided into four pillars: academic, cultural, sporting, and community, and students are elected into leadership positions that fall under these pillars. Campus Captains are elected in Year 6 through a competitive process, while unsuccessful candidates may become Pillar Leaders or Student Ambassadors. Campus Captains are responsible for leading one of the four pillars with the support of Pillar Leaders and Student Ambassadors.
The program emphasizes teamwork, cooperation, and regular communication between campus leaders, administration, and teacher mentors to identify opportunities for service and support. The journey towards leadership begins in Year 3, where students who display positive attitudes and leadership potential are given opportunities to develop and practice their skills. By the time they reach Year 6, students are equipped with the skills, abilities, and desire to become effective leaders and serve their community.
