Varsity College offers a range of co-curricular opportunities for students across our four academic, cultural, sporting and community pillars. These programs can be either part of the school day such as interschool sports, sporting carnivals or after school programs.

Academic

At Varsity College, we are dedicated to providing a well-rounded education to our students.

Our commitment to hosting academic co-curricular programs such as debating, public speaking competitions, poetry slam, and homework clubs is aimed at nurturing and developing our students to become confident and capable learners.

Sports

Varsity College is committed to providing opportunities for our 'up and coming' sporting students, so that they continue to improve and achieve their true potential.

Our College holds a range of sporting carnivals across the year. Students across both our Primary and Secondary Campuses participate in Cross Country, Track & Field, and Swimming Carnivals.

Cultural

Varsity College nurtures the creative talents of all our students, producing a generation of young people who have been immersed in the wider arts community and graduate from our school ready to push the boundaries of artistic license.

Our extra-curricular programs provide opportunities for our students to gain deep knowledge in the arts, foster innovation and creativity and prepare them to take their place on the world stage.

Community & Leadership

Great leaders are nurtured and developed by providing great opportunities for students to step forward and lead the way, to experience and be exposed to leaders in different fields and to learn how to inspire and motivate others.

Religious Instruction

Queensland state schools embrace a multitude of cultural, religious and non-religious beliefs. Under the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006, schools are to provide Religious Instruction (RI) if approached by a faith group seeking to provide RI and students of that faith attend the school.
